Hi! I’m Kristin.

I was born and raised in the Bay of Quinte region. After many years of exploring, living, and working across Canada, I returned to Prince Edward County to raise my family and have remained in the area ever since.

As a single mom to two incredible young men, I am happy as long as there is a sparkle in their eyes, and they are chasing their dreams and being honest, kind, and morally good people.

My adventurous soul continues to pull me in many directions. Climbing mountains in Yosemite and the French Alps, cycling through France and Italy, running a marathon in Long Beach, CA, exploring the east and west coasts of Canada in a camper van, hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro, and experiencing the Napali Coast by helicopter are a few of my many memorable adventures. I work hard to maintain a fitness level that supports my passion for this type of activity on a whim!

I genuinely adore humankind, listening to and learning from others’ life experiences. I’m a Connector, and I get great satisfaction from introducing people who I believe could be mutually beneficial to one another.

Getting involved in the community is part of my DNA. Doing good, serving, and helping to make positive change locally and around the world is my passion.

I appreciate good food and good wine, particularly when shared with wonderful people, interesting conversation, lots of laughter, and, of course, the occasional tear.

In 2009, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, a disease that has been with me ever since. I am often asked for updates on my health, which leads me here: a place to share my story. Thank you for visiting my site and for supporting me on this sometimes rewarding, often challenging, and mostly unpredictable journey.

With love…
